Since 1979, Andy Lockwood is a 47-year veteran of the commercial real estate business in Houston and Chambers & Liberty Counties east of Houston. 1979-1984, Andy served the Property Management division of Hines Houston, managing office buildings and ultimately Group Manager at The Lake on Post Oak, a 1,250,000 SF, Class A office park in Houston’s Galleria area. 1984-2001, Andy served as an asset manager and advisor to Teacher Retirement System of Texas on its commercial loan and equity real estate, negotiating loan workouts, liquidating foreclosed real estate, reporting to lenders on mortgage loan collateral and arranging $46,000,000 in commercial mortgage loans before leaving CBRE in 2001. 2002-2008 Grubb & Ellis, Andy brokered commercial real estate and investment properties, including industrial, multifamily, hospitality and raw land. Between 2003 and 2011, Andy sold approx $43,000,000 of commercial real estate. In 2008, Andy left Grubb & Ellis to become an independent broker, marketing and selling rural, commercial and industrial properties in Chambers and Liberty Counties, Texas. Since 2009, Andy has sold more than 11,000 acres of land in Chambers and Liberty Counties, including farm & ranch & recreational land and commercial/residential & industrial property between Mont Belvieu and Winnie, TX. Presently, Andy has approx 3,500 acres in Title and is marketing approx 13 parcels of land comprising +/- 2,700 acres in Chambers County, including 1,256ac with approx 3.1 miles fronting I-10E.
